In a manufacturing and supply environment, delays in materials, services, or deliveries can directly affect day-to-day operations. My role included coordinating with vendors and service providers, following up on purchase requirements and delivery schedules, maintaining related records, and keeping management informed of pending issues.

These responsibilities were part of my work at Soma Ice Candy Factory, where I handled vendor communication, purchase requirements, delivery coordination, and operational follow-ups.

Business Need

Vendor coordination involves more than placing an order. Each requirement needs clear ownership, accurate information, timely follow-up, and confirmation of completion.

Typical risks include:

• delayed deliveries;
• incomplete vendor confirmation;
• incorrect quantities or requirements;
• missed follow-ups;
• unclear delivery dates;
• pending quotations or approvals;
• operational delays caused by missing materials or services.

The objective was to keep vendor-related requirements visible and ensure that important issues were followed through until completion.
